Flippin' sweet! I'm twenty-five and married to my best friend, Sara. We have a mini-schnauzer named Bacon. My 9-to-5 is teaching English at Windsor Academy and Georgia College & State University, but my real career is writing. I've had a few short stories published in literary magazines, and now I'm working on novels. One of them, a young adult fantasy series entitled MAGELLANA AND THE MERGONAUTS, I am currently shopping around in search of representation. --"It's up to you to make your own decisions in life. Yes, I know, I know. Again I haven't posted in a long while. Holidays and such. Here's a little something for you to check out until I can return with a longer post. It's a poem of mine that was recently published in an online journal called Strange Horizons. Give it a read and tell me what you think. It's called "Swans Take Flight at My Father's Grave." (No, my father's not dead.)

dude...I read your poem. It's very postmodern (if you know what I mean). I tried to understand it, but I couldn't. What does it mean? Just curious.
